Hokie Photoshop Expo E-mail

We're going to try something new here at Fight For Old D.C. for the month of December. As a new member of the Bloguin community, FFODC saw viewership increase significantly in November, and I wanted to think of a way to incorporate our community with some of the website's content. With Virginia Tech finishing its regular season by pummeling UVa last Saturday, they enter a full month of bowl preparations, which leaves me with a little more time on my hands. With that lapse in coverage, I'm launching the First Annual Hokie Photoshop Expo.


The Photoshop Expo is geared toward having a little fun with the season that just finished. I would like you all, the readers to come up with clever photoshops (or even simple paint edits) of Virginia Tech pictures from the 2009 season. They can be anything you like, such as putting Bud Foster's head on a golden god or Frank Beamer peeing on Scott Stadium. Just try to keep it reasonably appropriate (i.e. no nudity or excessive cursing). Please send all entries to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the Subject Line "Hokie Photoshop Expo," Your Name, and picture in JPG or GIF format.

As we approach the bowl game, I will post the finalists and pick a winner (finalists on the 19th, winner on the 20th), which will live in FFODC infamy. Winners will receive a fancy photoshopped medal to post on their blog (if applicable), and I'll be donating a holiday gift to Untrim-a-Tree (charity for underpriviledged kids) in the winner's name. We all like to see kids happy on Christmas, so submit entries and you can look like a good person. Please spread the word about this, as it's a good way get Hokie blogging community together and have a little fun! I hope to see some awesome entries!
